Party Secretary Hồ Văn Niên works with Party Committees of Đăk Kôi, Kon Braih and Đăk Rve Communes

On June 4, Hồ Văn Niên, Member of the Party Central Committee and Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, chaired a working session with the Party Committees of Đăk Kôi, Kon Braih and Đăk Rve communes to review the implementation of political tasks during the first five months of 2026 and discuss key priorities for the coming period.

The meeting was attended by members of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee Đỗ Tâm Hiển, and leaders of relevant departments and agencies.

At the meeting, Secretary Hồ Văn Niên commended local Party committees, authorities, officials and residents for their efforts in quickly stabilizing organizational structures following the administrative restructuring and gradually ensuring the effective operation of the two-tier local government model.

He noted that the communes had achieved positive results in socio-economic development, Party building, national defense, security and social order.

The Provincial Party Secretary called on local authorities to continue strengthening Party building and the political system, maintaining internal unity, and enhancing the leadership capacity and combat effectiveness of grassroots Party organizations.

He requested localities to further improve working regulations, assign responsibilities with clear accountability, and promote the exemplary role and proactive spirit of officials and civil servants. Greater engagement at the grassroots level and closer interaction with residents are needed to promptly address emerging issues and improve the effectiveness of the two-tier local government model.

Regarding socio-economic development, Secretary Hồ Văn Niên urged the communes to make full use of their respective strengths and advantages, promote agricultural restructuring, develop commodity-based agriculture linked with value enhancement and brand building, and effectively implement national target programs.

He also stressed the need to accelerate public investment disbursement, mobilize development resources, attract environmentally sustainable investment projects that create jobs, preserve the cultural values of ethnic minority communities, and improve education and healthcare services.

In addition, local authorities were asked to effectively implement ethnic and religious policies, advance administrative reform and digital transformation, expand the application of information technology in governance and public services, strengthen social welfare programs, and maintain national defense and security.

The local economy has remained stable, with continued efforts to restructure crops and livestock production, capitalize on agricultural advantages, and implement national target programs effectively. Budget revenue collection, public investment disbursement, social welfare policies, sustainable poverty reduction, vocational training, employment support, and housing programs have all achieved positive results. Administrative reform and digital transformation have continued to improve, while national defense and security have been firmly maintained.
