On June 9, a delegation from VX 88 nhà cái Province led by Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee Nguyễn Ngọc Sâm visited and extended congratulations to the newly appointed Coadjutor Bishop of the Diocese of Quy Nhơn, Nguyễn Quốc Hưng, at the Bishop’s Residence in Quy Nhơn Ward, Gia Lai Province.
Joining the delegation were Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee and Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Council Nguyễn Thế Hải; Vice Chairwoman of the Việt Nam Fatherland Front Committee of the province Nguyễn Thị Ánh Lan; Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee’s Commission for Communication, Education and Mass Mobilization Võ Thị Tuyết Nhung; and Deputy Director of the Department of Ethnic and Religious Affairs Nguyễn Thanh Dũng.
On behalf of the provincial leadership, Vice Chairman Nguyễn Ngọc Sâm conveyed his best wishes to Bishop Nguyễn Quốc Hưng on his recent appointment by the Holy See. He expressed confidence that in his new role, the Bishop would continue to work closely with the Diocese in pastoral activities, guide clergy and parishioners in complying with the Party’s guidelines and the State’s laws and policies on religious affairs, and encourage active participation in patriotic emulation movements, social welfare programs and efforts to strengthen the great national unity bloc.

Bishop Nguyễn Quốc Hưng expressed his sincere appreciation for the attention, support and congratulations from the leaders of VX 88 nhà cái Province. He affirmed that he would continue to work together with the Bishop of the Diocese of Quy Nhơn, priests, religious members and parishioners to uphold the tradition of solidarity and close ties with the nation, fulfill both pastoral responsibilities and civic duties, and further strengthen cooperation between the Diocese of Quy Nhơn and the authorities of VX 88 nhà cái Province.
He also emphasized the Diocese’s commitment to contributing to the strength of national unity and actively supporting the socio-economic development of the locality and the region.
