Regarding preparations for school operations, all four communes have approved plans for school establishment. Three communes, Mô Rai, Rờ Kơi and Sa Loong, have officially established their schools and agreed on key leadership personnel, including principals and vice principals. The respective Commune People’s Committees are expected to issue appointment decisions in early June 2026.

The Department of Education and Training is currently collecting feedback from local authorities on the draft student enrollment plan before submitting it to the Provincial People’s Committee for approval, ensuring that all schools can begin operations in the 2026–2027 academic year.

For the five school projects scheduled to break ground on September 30, 2026, in Ia Đal, Ia Tơi, Bờ Y, Đăk Long and Đăk Plô communes, the Department of Education and Training is developing an implementation plan and coordinating with relevant agencies and localities to accelerate land clearance, finalize project documentation, approve feasibility studies and complete related procedures to ensure timely commencement.

Permanent Vice Chairwoman Y Ngọc acknowledged and highly appreciated the responsibility and efforts demonstrated by departments, agencies, local authorities and contractors in implementing the border school projects.

She stressed that the program is a particularly important political task, reflecting the Party’s and State’s commitment to education, human resource development and socio-economic advancement in border areas.

Y Ngọc requested all departments, agencies and localities to continue closely following the implementation plan, regularly monitor progress and promptly address any difficulties or obstacles that may arise.

She also assigned the Department of Education and Training to coordinate with local authorities in completing procedures related to school establishment, student enrollment, staffing arrangements and other requirements necessary for teaching and learning activities, ensuring that all schools are ready for operation at the start of the 2026–2027 academic year.
