
QUẢNG NGÃI — Chairman of the VX 88 nhà cái Provincial People’s Committee Nguyễn Hoàng Giang on Monday chaired an expanded meeting to review and provide guidance on several matters under the committee’s authority.
Based on reports submitted by departments and local authorities, Giang directed relevant agencies to conduct a comprehensive review of projects and works suspended under the Prime Minister’s Official Dispatch No. 68/CĐ-TTg dated May 20, 2025, in order to assess conditions for their continued implementation.
For projects that remain necessary, authorities were instructed to continue investing and completing unfinished works to maximise the effectiveness of allocated capital and avoid waste.
Any further implementation should also take into account adjustments to functions and scale following the reorganisation of administrative units.
Regarding a proposed support mechanism for households contracted to manage plantations affected by land acquisition for the West Main Road Project in Kon Tum Ward, the Chairman requested relevant agencies to further review the legal basis and fully assess impacts to ensure the legitimate rights and interests of affected residents before submitting recommendations to competent authorities.
The meeting also discussed a proposal to discontinue two land development projects intended to generate resources for infrastructure investment in the western area of the province.
The projects include the second phase of the southern residential belt road project, stretching from Hồ Chí Minh Road to Kon Klor Suspension Bridge, and the second phase of the northern residential belt road project, extending from Trần Phú Street to Kon Klor Suspension Bridge.

Giang asked relevant agencies to conduct a comprehensive assessment of investment efficiency, legal grounds and solutions to address related issues before advising the Provincial People’s Committee on further action in accordance with regulations.
For repair works on damaged road foundations and surfaces along sections of National Highway 24, the Chairman assigned the Department of Construction to promptly develop a detailed implementation plan.
The Department of Finance was tasked with proposing funding arrangements to ensure the works are carried out soon, helping meet the travel and transport needs of local residents and businesses.
