On May 31, at Pháp Hóa Pagoda in Nghĩa Lộ Ward, Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee Nguyễn Hoàng Giang, and Alternate Member of the Party Central Committee, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Việt Nam Fatherland Front Committee of the Province U Huấn, attended the Vesak Celebration of Buddhist Calendar Year 2570 (Gregorian Year 2026).

Nguyễn Hoàng Giang, Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee, presented a floral tribute to extend congratulations on the Vesak Celebration 2026

During the ceremony, delegates, Buddhist dignitaries, monks, nuns and followers reflected on the significance of the birth of Gautama Buddha.

Participants also listened to the Vesak Message of the Supreme Patriarch of the Việt Nam Buddhist Sangha and the Vesak Address delivered by the Central Executive Council of the Việt Nam Buddhist Sangha.

The ceremony included a tribute to heroic martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the nation.

Provincial leaders, Buddhist dignitaries, monks, nuns and Buddhist followers also participated in traditional rituals, offering prayers for national prosperity, favorable weather conditions, peace and happiness for the people, and continued social harmony and development.
