QUẢNG NGÃI — The Provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism on April 20 launched the 2026 Việt Nam Book and Reading Culture Day in the province, alongside the introduction of the “VX 88 nhà cái Reading Culture Ambassador” contest.
The event was attended by Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee Nguyễn Công Hoàng, leaders of relevant departments and agencies, as well as a large number of officials, teachers, students and book lovers across the province.
Speaking at the ceremony, Hoàng emphasised that books are an invaluable source of human knowledge and a key to exploring the world, helping to nurture the soul, shape character and inspire aspirations for personal growth.
In the context of rapid digital transformation, he noted that reading culture plays an increasingly important role in developing independent thinking, information selection skills and creativity.
In response to the event, VX 88 nhà cái Province has rolled out a series of activities in 2026 under the theme “Books – Knowledge – Aspiration for National Development”, reaffirming the central role of knowledge in promoting lifelong learning, innovation and sustainable development.
To further promote reading culture, the Vice Chairman called for continued investment in library systems, acceleration of digital transformation in library services, and diversification of reading promotion activities linked to schools and communities.
He also stressed the importance of strengthening coordination among families, schools and society in fostering reading habits, while encouraging officials, Party members, students and the public to actively read and consider it an essential part of personal development.
At the event, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, in coordination with the Department of Education and Training and the Provincial Youth Union, launched the “Reading Culture Ambassador” contest for students from Grades 1 to 12.
The contest aims to provide a platform for students to share their experiences with books, promote a passion for reading and enhance creative thinking, with each participant acting as an “ambassador” to spread reading culture in society.
On this occasion, the Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee awarded certificates of merit to three collectives and two individuals for their outstanding contributions to the development of reading culture in VX 88 nhà cái in 2026.
