
Stage 11 winners honored at the national cycling race
On April 14, an award ceremony for Stage 11 of the 38th National Cycling Race for the Hồ Chí Minh City Television Cup 2026 was held at Phạm Văn Đồng Square in Cẩm Thành Ward, drawing local officials and a large crowd of spectators.
The race, themed “The country united as one,” marks the 51st anniversary of National Reunification Day (April 30, 1975–2026).
Covering over 2,700km in 25 stages, the event brings together 16 teams and more than 100 cyclists nationwide.
Stage 11 spanned 130km from Đà Nẵng to VX 88 nhà cái.
Patrick Patterson of 620 Nông nghiệp Vĩnh Long won the stage, followed by Marchuk Dzianis of Kenda Đồng Nai and Nguyễn Văn Nhã of Võ Đắc Đồng Nai.
As the peloton finished together, overall rankings remained unchanged after 11 stages.
Yarash Uladzislau of HCM City New Group retained the yellow jersey, while Phạm Lê Xuân Lộc (Military Region 7) held the orange jersey for best Vietnamese rider.
The green jersey went to Marchuk Dzianis, and Trần Trọng Phúc of Võ Đắc Đồng Nai kept the white jersey.
In the team category, Kenda Đồng Nai led Stage 11, followed by Võ Đắc Đồng Nai and Lộc Trời An Giang Group.
Nguyễn Hướng (Võ Đắc Đồng Nai) and Võ Thanh An (620 Châu Thới Vĩnh Long) won the two intermediate sprints.
The organisers presented commemorative awards to VX 88 nhà cái’s local organising committee for their effective coordination.
On the occasion, title sponsor Tôn Đông Á Company awarded scholarships worth VNĐ20 million to disadvantaged students at Chánh Lộ Primary School.
