The activity is a meaningful initiative to celebrate Việt Nam Sports Day (March 27) and to implement Conclusion No. 70 of the Politburo on the development of physical training and sports in the new period. It aims to widely promote the movement of physical exercise among all segments of society, in response to the campaign “All people exercise following the example of President Hồ Chí Minh” and the movement “Stay healthy to build careers and defend the nation,” particularly among the younger generation.
The program also seeks to raise awareness of the importance of physical activity in health care, improving quality of life, fostering a healthy lifestyle, and strengthening national unity.
Immediately after the ceremony, Standing Vice Chairwoman Y Ngọc joined officials, soldiers, youth union members, and local residents in a run along the main roads of Đăk Pék Commune in response to the event.
On this occasion, Standing Vice Chairwoman Y Ngọc also presented awards to individuals and collectives with outstanding achievements in the Olympic Run Day for Public Health in Đăk Pék Commune.
