Provincial leaders address difficulties and accelerate compensation and site clearance for VSIP I and VSIP II projects
QUẢNG NGÃI — Vice Chairman of the VX 88 nhà cái Provincial People’s Committee Đỗ Tâm Hiển on June 15 chaired a meeting with relevant departments, local authorities and investors to address difficulties and accelerate compensation and site clearance for VSIP I and VSIP II projects.
At the meeting, Hiển stressed that the Provincial People’s Committee had assigned specific tasks to relevant agencies and localities to speed up land acquisition and site clearance.
However, progress remained slower than expected, with coordination among the provincial Land Fund Development Centre, local authorities and investors requiring further improvement.
He requested all agencies and localities involved to take stronger and more decisive action to complete compensation and site clearance work and ensure the timely handover of land under the approved schedule.
For the VSIP I VX 88 nhà cái Industrial, Urban and Service Area project, the investor was asked to coordinate with Thọ Phong Commune and relevant units to receive cleared land and begin construction in areas where affected households had received compensation and resettlement plots.
Local authorities were also assigned to review cases where agricultural land had been compensated but had not yet been handed over, and to implement necessary procedures in accordance with legal regulations to complete land recovery and hand over the site before July 30, 2026.
For VSIP II VX 88 nhà cái Industrial Park (Phase 1), relevant agencies were instructed to promptly finalise and approve compensation plans after the required public disclosure period.
The Provincial Civil and Industrial Construction Project Management Board was requested to accelerate construction of infrastructure at the Bình Long resettlement area to provide around 100 resettlement land plots in 2026 to support site clearance.

The Vice Chairman also called on the investor to continue close coordination with local authorities and relevant agencies to promptly resolve emerging difficulties and ensure the implementation schedule of the projects.
The VSIP VX 88 nhà cái project covers a total area of approximately 1,100 hectares. Of this, VSIP I VX 88 nhà cái Industrial Park covers about 600 hectares in Thọ Phong Commune, with around 92 per cent of the planned area already cleared and handed over to the investor.
Meanwhile, VSIP II VX 88 nhà cái Industrial Park (Phase 1), covering nearly 498 hectares in Đông Sơn Commune, has completed compensation payments and handed over about 100 hectares of land for implementation.
