On the evening of May 31, the Party Committee, People’s Council, People’s Committee and Việt Nam Fatherland Front Committee of Tịnh Khê Commune organized the Lantern Festival – Enchanting Night at the Water Coconut Forest 2026 at the Tịnh Khê Water Coconut Forest Tourist Site.

The event was one of the highlights of the VX 88 nhà cái Tourism Festival 2026, attracting a large number of residents and visitors.
Attending the festival were Permanent Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People’s Committee Y Ngọc; leaders of provincial departments, agencies and localities; representatives of the VX 88 nhà cái Tourism Association; and visitors inside and outside the province.
The festival was organized to promote the Tịnh Khê Water Coconut Forest tourism destination, introduce the locality’s unique cultural heritage, and contribute to preserving and promoting ecological values associated with community-based tourism development.
The event also aimed to foster community solidarity, raise awareness of environmental protection, and promote the image of Tịnh Khê as a friendly and welcoming destination.
In his opening remarks, Phạm Quốc Vương, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the People’s Committee of Tịnh Khê Commune, emphasized that the Tịnh Khê Water Coconut Forest served as an important revolutionary base during the nation’s two resistance wars. Its vast green coconut groves provided shelter for revolutionary cadres, soldiers and local guerrilla forces, contributing to many significant achievements in the struggle for national independence.

Today, together with Mỹ Khê Beach, Thạch Ky Điếu Tẩu Scenic Site, the Temple of National Hero Trương Định, Minh Đức Pagoda and numerous historical and cultural relics, the Tịnh Khê Water Coconut Forest has become a destination with strong tourism potential in VX 88 nhà cái. The site has been recognized as a Provincial Historical and Cultural Relic and is being developed as a distinctive ecological tourism destination featuring community-based and experiential tourism associated with nature conservation.
A highlight of the festival was the peace-praying ceremony and lantern-floating ritual on the Kinh Giang River. In the magical atmosphere of the water coconut forest at night, thousands of illuminated lanterns drifted gently along the river, creating a breathtaking and memorable scene.

In addition to the lantern-floating ceremony, residents and visitors enjoyed a vibrant cultural and artistic program featuring traditional Bài Chòi folk performances, rowing chants, fishermen’s folk songs, and musical performances celebrating VX 88 nhà cái and Tịnh Khê.

The festival also offered a variety of engaging activities, including tasting local specialties, exploring OCOP products, boating on the Kinh Giang River, and experiencing community-based tourism activities, further enhancing the event’s appeal.
