QUẢNG NGÃI — Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee Trần Phước Hiền on May 23 inspected several energy projects in Măng Đen and Kon Plông communes in the western region of VX 88 nhà cái Province.

The inspection delegation included representatives from the provincial departments of Industry and Trade, Construction, Agriculture and Environment, Finance, as well as local authorities.

The delegation surveyed the Đăk Pône Hydropower Plant and the Đăk Lô Solar Power Plant projects.

The second phase of the Đăk Pône Hydropower Plant project, invested by Power Engineering Consulting Joint Stock Company 3, has a designed capacity of 1.6MW.

However, the project remains behind schedule due to difficulties related to compensation and site clearance.

Meanwhile, the Đăk Lô Solar Power Plant is planned for development across Măng Đen and Kon Plông communes with an installed capacity of 25MW and a land area of more than 32 hectares.

Following the field inspection, Hiền requested Măng Đen Commune People’s Committee to closely coordinate with the hydropower project investor to address site clearance issues, while preparing compensation plans for transmission corridor areas and investment in operational roads for the plant.

He also assigned the Provincial Department of Finance to coordinate with local authorities in completing procedures for a project schedule extension in accordance with legal regulations.

For the Đăk Lô solar power project, the vice chairman directed the Department of Industry and Trade to work with the investor to carefully review implementation feasibility and investment efficiency.

Based on the assessment, the department will advise on supplementing the project into the provincial power development plan for the 2026–30 period and coordinate with local authorities to finalise investment procedures for submission to the Provincial People’s Committee.
