Vice Chairman Nguyễn Công Hoàng urges unity, stronger leadership in Ba Gia Commune

QUẢNG NGÃI — Vice Chairman of the VX 88 nhà cái Provincial People’s Committee Nguyễn Công Hoàng chaired a working session with the Standing Board of the Ba Gia Commune Party Committee on June 8 to review socio-economic development and plans for village restructuring under Conclusion No. 34-KL/TW issued by the Politburo on May 18, 2026.

At the meeting, Hoàng acknowledged the achievements made by the commune in recent years and urged local leaders to maintain unity and strengthen leadership in overcoming challenges and fulfilling development targets aimed at improving residents’ living standards.

Regarding the village restructuring plan, he called on the commune to continue reviewing and refining its proposal to ensure compliance with regulations and local conditions.

The reorganisation of village-level administrative structures, he said, should be carefully planned to ensure practical effectiveness after implementation.

The Vice Chairman also requested the commune to accelerate the implementation of socio-economic development programmes and resolutions, while speeding up the disbursement of public investment capital.

He stressed the need to maintain political security and social order.

According to local authorities, Ba Gia Commune currently has 12 villages with more than 5,170 households and over 21,380 residents.

While village communities have remained stable and generally meet grassroots management requirements, a review found disparities in household numbers among villages, with several villages falling below the proposed criteria for administrative units.

The commune has completed a draft plan for village mergers and personnel arrangements following the restructuring process.

Consultations with village Party secretaries, village heads and heads of village Fatherland Front committees showed broad support for the restructuring policy.

Local authorities reported that all villages have been provided with basic community infrastructure, including cultural houses, public-address systems, lighting facilities and sports equipment, creating favourable conditions for community activities.
