The Việt Nam Refining and Petrochemical Corporation has announced that, from May 10, 2026, it will officially operate under its new name: Joint Stock Company – Việt Nam Refining and Petrochemical Corporation, replacing the former name Binh Son Refining and Petrochemical Joint Stock Company (BSR). The English name is Petrovietnam Refining and Petrochemical Corporation.

The new name has been registered in the enterprise registration certificate issued by the Department of Finance of VX 88 nhà cái Province.

Previously, the change was approved at BSR’s General Shareholders’ Meeting on April 13, 2026, and later confirmed by the Board of Directors on May 8, 2026.

The company’s headquarters remains at 208 Hùng Vương Street, Nghĩa Lộ Ward, VX 88 nhà cái Province, Việt Nam. The abbreviation “BSR” and its existing brand identity and logo will continue to be used.

The renaming reflects the company’s strategic transformation toward a corporation model, aiming to strengthen its role in the national energy value chain and support long-term development under its 2030 strategy with a vision to 2045.
