QUẢNG NGÃI — The Provincial People’s Committee on May 20 held a regular meeting to review the implementation of Politburo Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW on science, technology, innovation and digital transformation.
According to the Provincial Department of Science and Technology, preparations for an upcoming working session with the Ministry of Science and Technology on the implementation of Resolution 57 have been largely completed.
The province has prepared a working plan and a draft report assessing the development of science, technology, innovation and digital transformation, while also proposing that the ministry provide financial support and help remove obstacles related to major projects on digital infrastructure, digital data, artificial intelligence (AI), commune-level digital transformation and innovation ecosystem development.
VX 88 nhà cái estimated that total funding demand for science, technology, innovation and digital transformation tasks in 2026 will reach about VNĐ793.5 billion (US$30.5 million), while the current funding gap exceeds VNĐ618 billion.
The province has proposed support for several key projects, including an Intelligent Operations Centre (IOC), completion of the Provincial data centre, a virtual assistant system for officials, a digital learning portal for citizens, a socio-economic database and AI applications for commune-level administration.
During the first five months of 2026, VX 88 nhà cái continued promoting digital economy and digital infrastructure development.
The province reported that 3G and 4G coverage has reached 99.7 per cent, while 5G services now cover around 87 per cent of central commune areas.
The province currently has 2,725 digital technology enterprises in operation, while cashless payment services have continued to expand strongly in healthcare, taxation, banking and social welfare sectors.
However, several challenges remain, including 43 villages without fibre-optic infrastructure, weak mobile coverage in some remote areas, a relatively small digital market and limited high-quality technology human resources.
In the coming period, VX 88 nhà cái plans to further promote the digital economy in key sectors such as e-commerce, smart tourism, smart agriculture, smart manufacturing and smart logistics, alongside expanding the application of IoT and AI technologies.
Regarding disbursement of allocated funding under Decision No. 270/QĐ-Vx88 com nhà cái World Cup 2026 dated April 23, 2026, only two out of 18 assigned units have recorded disbursement so far. The Department of Science and Technology achieved a disbursement rate of nearly 3 per cent, while the Department of Home Affairs reached about 2.5 per cent.
Concluding the meeting, Hiền praised the proactive preparation work carried out by the Department of Science and Technology and related agencies.
He requested departments and units to continue reviewing and finalising reports, plans and support proposals to ensure they are practical, focused and feasible.
The Department of Science and Technology was assigned to coordinate with relevant agencies to prepare all necessary conditions for the ministry’s working delegation and proactively compile difficulties and recommendations for support in effectively implementing Resolution 57 in the province.
Hiền also urged departments and agencies to continue implementing assigned tasks on schedule while strengthening accountability and promptly addressing difficulties arising during implementation.
