QUẢNG NGÃI — Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee Nguyễn Công Hoàng attended the closing and award ceremony of the fourth VX 88 nhà cái Robot Innovation Contest 2026 on April 19.
The contest was jointly organised by the VX 88 nhà cái Union of Science and Technology Associations, HCM City University of Technology and Education, the Provincial Department of Education and Training, and the Provincial Youth Union.
Speaking at the event, Hoàng highly appreciated the enthusiasm and efforts of participating students and teachers, as well as the contributions of the organising board and relevant agencies.
He also expressed gratitude to the university for its strong support in expertise, technical assistance and organisation, as well as for fostering students’ passion for scientific and technological research.
He congratulated the winning teams and noted that students are increasingly proactive in accessing knowledge in programming, robotics and modern technologies. This, he said, forms a crucial foundation for developing innovative thinking, practical skills and adaptability to the rapid advancement of science and technology.
Hoàng called on local authorities, schools and parents to continue paying attention and adopting appropriate incentive mechanisms to encourage students and teachers to actively engage in scientific and technological innovation activities.
84 teams from 43 secondary and high schools across the province enthusiastically competed in the two-day contest. Sixteen outstanding teams advanced to the final round, delivering exciting and competitive performances.
The first prize was awarded to Team TQD 01 from Trần Quang Diệu High School.
The second prize went to Team STThg Tech-Future 01 from Đinh Thanh Kháng Primary and Secondary Boarding School for Ethnic Minorities.
Two third prizes were presented to Team Vạn Tường 01 from Vạn Tường Secondary and High School and Team LTĐ 01 from Lê Trung Đình High School.
In addition, the organising board presented eight consolation prizes, along with six awards for creative robots and six for robot style.
On this occasion, Vice Chairman Hoàng also presented certificates of merit from the Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee to three collectives and individuals in recognition of their contributions to the organisation of the contest.
