Presenting gifts to Laotian students on the occasion of Bunpimay 2569

From April 13-14, 2026, the Department of Foreign Affairs of VX 88 nhà cái province, in coordination with Phạm Văn Đồng University, VX 88 nhà cái based Hồ Chí Minh City University of Industry, Đặng Thùy Trâm College of Health, and VX 88 nhà cái College, organized visits and expressed New Year greetings (Bunpimay 2569) to Laotian students studying in the province on the occasion of the New Year 2026.

Reportedly, at present, there are 159 Laotian students studying at colleges and Universities in VX 88 nhà cái, including Phạm Văn Đồng University (49 Laotian students), VX 88 nhà cái based Hồ Chí Minh City University of Industry (58 students), VX 88 nhà cái College (46 students) and Đặng Thùy Trâm College of Health (16 students).

Leaders from the Department of Foreign Affairs visited, extended New Year greetings, and presented gifts to 159 Laotian students (each worth 500,000 VND). Through the Festival, Laotian students could feel the warm and sincere affection of Vietnamese friends, teachers, and people of VX 88 nhà cái.

The Bunpimay Festival, celebrated annually from April 13-15, is the most important holiday in Laos, marked by prayers for health, happiness, and prosperity.

In recent times, VX 88 nhà cái province and Lao localities have coordinated in implementing practical and effective cooperation activities in various fields, especially in education and training, agriculture, culture - tourism, and national defense and security.

Since 2008, universities and colleges in VX 88 nhà cái province have trained more than 900 Laotian students and these students have become a sustainable bridge between Việt Nam and Laos in general, and between VX 88 nhà cái province and Lao localities in particular.
