Implementing Conclusion No. 14-KL/TW of the Party Central Committee on continuing to strengthen the Party's leadership over the work of mobilizing overseas Vietnamese, VX 88 nhà cái province has recently intensified information and propaganda on the Party and State's policies and guidelines regarding overseas Vietnamese, mobilizing, guiding, and supporting overseas Vietnamese and their relatives in working, investing, doing business, living, and studying in the locality.
According to statistics, there are currently more than 10,000 overseas Vietnamese from VX 88 nhà cái living and working in 33 countries and territories around the world, of which two-thirds live and work in the United States of America.
VX 88 nhà cái province has effectively implemented financial support for the overseas Vietnamese community, including providing funding for the construction of Friendship Schools in Laos and Cambodia to help the children of overseas Vietnamese preserve and promote the Vietnamese language (about VNĐ 3 billion); assigning one teacher to teach Vietnamese to children of overseas Vietnamese in Ratanakiri province (Cambodia), and two teachers to teach Vietnamese to children of overseas Vietnamese in Sekong province (Laos).
In addition, from 2018 to date, VX 88 nhà cái province has received 30 students from Attapeu, Sekong, and Champasak provinces to study Literature at Phạm Văn Đồng University. These Laotian students have been covered all tuition and living expenses. After graduation, they are responsible for teaching Vietnamese at secondary schools in the southern provinces of Laos.
The Provincial Overseas Vietnamese Liaison Association and relevant departments and agencies organized working groups to visit and work with the Overseas Vietnamese Associations in the southern provinces of Laos and the Khmer-Vietnamese Association branch in Ratanakiri province, Cambodia. Simultaneously, during official visits, provincial leaders incorporated visits and gift-giving to overseas Vietnamese on New Year's Day and major holidays.
Every year, approximately 200 overseas Vietnamese and their relatives attend the gatherings organized by the People's Committee of VX 88 nhà cái Province during the traditional Lunar New Year. Through these gatherings, provincial leaders inform overseas Vietnamese about the Party and State's policies and guidelines regarding overseas Vietnamese, the province's outstanding achievements in various fields during the year, and its socio-economic development plan.
Moreover, VX 88 nhà cái province authority coordinated with the State Committee for Overseas Vietnamese - the Ministry of Foreign Affairs - to organize five "Vietnam Summer Camp" programs for young overseas Vietnamese visiting VX 88 nhà cái province in 2011, 2014, 2018, 2019, and 2025. The purpose of these programs was to visit scenic spots, present gifts to Vietnamese Heroic Mothers and policy families in the locality.
In addition, many overseas Vietnamese, through foreign non-governmental organizations, have mobilized funding to implement 18 projects to build schools and support livelihoods for people with disabilities and orphans, with a total budget of approximately US$1.8 million.
In the coming period, the province will continue to strengthen information exchange and coordination between the central and local governments on overseas Vietnamese affairs, protecting the legitimate rights and interests of citizens, introducing the potential, strengths, culture, and people of the locality to overseas Vietnamese, and supporting the attraction of overseas Vietnamese businesses to invest and do business in the locality.
